Artist Bio

Christopher Bautista is an American-born Actor, Writer, and Creative Producer based in Toronto after moving from Los Angeles in 2014. He has appeared on professional theatre stages as Lyons in August Wilson's Pulitzer prize-winning drama Fences, as Othello in Shakespeare's problematic classic Othello, Tye McCool in Tennessee Williams' Vieux Carré, and in the Dora-award nominated production of The Negroes are Congregating at Theatre Passe Murraille. 


Christopher also can be seen at the 2022 SXSW Festival in the premier of Black Ice, an interactive cinematic VR experience which explores the dangerous power of memories.  


Christopher is proud to serve as a member of I.M.P.A.C.T, The Independent Media Producers Association of Creative Talent, which is a national, member-based non-profit organization.


Christopher’s artistic practice is rooted in his love for humanity. He is proud to have recently produced a music video project and series of interviews in support of Black workers with Sara Basso of New Ritual Studio.
