Christopher Bautista

Christopher Bautista has appeared on professional theatre stages in August Wilson's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Fences, Shakespeare's classic Othello, Timothy Findley's The Wars, and in the Dora-award nominated production of The Negroes are Congregating at Theatre Passe Murraille. 

 

For Film and TV, Christopher delivered lead and supporting performances in feature films such as Florrie and Fragile Seeds. Christopher appeared on HBO Max's Titans in 2021 and in the 2022 SXSW Festival in the premier of Black Ice VR.  

 

As a creative producer, Christopher produced a documentary-style series of interviews in support of Black workers and a music video entitled For the People. He serves as a member of I.M.P.A.C.T, The Independent Media Producers Association of Creative Talent, which is a national, member-based non-profit organization.

 

As CEO/Founder of Matista Media, his current slate features projects that possess the underlying theme of discovering, revealing, and tapping into the humanity within us all.
