Christopher Bautista is an American-born Actor, Writer, and Creative Producer based in Toronto after moving from Los Angeles in 2014. He has appeared as Lyons in Fences, as Othello in Othello, Tye McCool in Vieux Carre, and most recently in Warner Bros’ Titans. After serving with the United States Marine Corps, Christopher rekindled his love for storytelling while studying English, Theatre, and Film at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Since then, he has been featured in theatrical productions, films, tv, and commercials in both LA and Toronto. He was last seen on stage at Theatre Passe Muraille in the Dora-award nominated production The Negroes are Congregating.
Christopher is proud to serve as a member of I.M.P.A.C.T, The Independent Media Producers Association of Creative Talent, which is a national, member-based non-profit organization created to open the gates for producers who are of Afro descent and who identify as Black, of all intersectional identities, creating a fair, equitable and a truly representative film, tv, digital media and music industries.
Christopher’s artistic practice is rooted in his love for humanity. He is proud to have recently produced a project in support of Black workers with Sara Basso of New Ritual Studio.
